Teachers in West Chicago School District 33 could go on strike Monday.
Negotiations between teachers and the school board broke off Friday night without a deal. The teachers filed an intent to strike last month. The two sides continue to disagree on several issues including: health insurance costs, class sizes, salaries, and teacher workdays.
A walk-out is unlikely to happen before a union meeting on Wednesday, according to a Union Rep.
A strike would affect 4,000 students from preschool to middle school.
