3 men save jogger during lakefront attack
A woman was attacked in broad daylight while jogging on a lakefront bike path. Three men came to her rescue, tackled and held a suspect until police arrived.
It happened around 2 p.m. yesterday along Lake Shore Drive in Hyde Park. A 36-year-old woman screamed for help when a man began to attack her.
Three men, including ex-marine Michael Adams, caught the suspect.
Adams used his cell phone to take video of the suspect while he was lying on the ground.
Adams says that he doesn’t really consider himself a hero, not really.
He says he never thought twice about helping catch the suspect, and hopes that other good Samaritans would do the same.
