Former Illinois Governor George Ryan is writing a memoir that could expose other lawmakers.
Ryan was released from prison in January, after he served six years for corruption.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that he’s been spending his free time writing down his memories from his 40 year career in politics.
“He carries around a tape recorder and every time he remembers a story or a vignette he spits it out,” said Ryan’s son, Homer.
Ryan’s son says the book will not hold back and a few state leaders should be worried.
“It’s going to be a no-holds-barred book and he is planning to tell it like it is,” said Ryan.
The book does not have a publisher yet.
