A second missing alligator has been captured in a Cook County forest preserve on the Far South Side.

The two-and-a-half foot alligator was caught by a contractor Monday night in Flatfoot Lake near 130th and Bishop Highway.

The same contractor found and captured another alligator in the same lake last week.

Both alligators are alive and healthy and will be relocated.
