The Rotary Club of Chicago will honor three distinguished businesswomen who have changed lives in our community as Chicago Woman of the Year. The luncheon will be heldTuesday, June 17, 2014 at the Union League Club. 65 W Jackson Blvd, Chicago, IL 60604.

- Luncheon: 12 noon – 1:30pm.
o Theresa E. Mintle,President & CEO, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, will be the keynote speaker. Mintle is the first female president in the Chamber’s 110 year history.
o Toni Preckwinkle,Cook County Board President, has been a Chicago community leader for over two decades, having started her career teaching high school history. Among other major accomplishments are Preckwinkle’s strides toward making the county government more transparent and accountable.
o Janice Rodgers,Partner, Quarles & Brady LLP, a tax-exempt organizations attorney, is being honored for her long-standing commitment to The Chicago Foundation for Women, a grant-making entity which raises money in the greater Chicago area to fund and support organizations that serve women and girls. o Deborah Rickert,President & CEO, Operation Support Our Troops America (OSOT), will be honored for her work with Operation Support Our Troops, whose mission is to support the morale and well-being of troops serving in harm’s way, their families, and returning veterans. What began as a grassroots effort has blossomed into one of the largest volunteer-based military support organizations in the country.
