Chicago-bound flight from London makes emergency landing due to fuel problem
EDINBURGH, Scotland — A Chicago-bound United Airlines flight from London was diverted to Edinburgh, Scotland due to a mid-air emergency.
Flight 929 left London’s Heathrow Airport around 7 a.m. Tuesday and was on its way to Chicago’s O’Hare Airport.
The Sun reports the plane was just an hour into its flight before it developed fuel problems and had to dump fuel.
The flight made an emergency landing safely into Edinburgh Airport.
The plane is being checked out. Passengers took another flight to Chicago.
