CHICAGO — Expect increased security if you’re headed to Chicago’s Lollapalooza music festival this weekend.

The Office of Emergency Management and Communications is adding uniformed and plain clothes officers for the four-day event in Grant Park.

You can also expect to have your bag searched, get a pat down, or even be searched with a magnetic wand.

The agency says its been working closely with the promoter and Chicago’s first responders, and is prepared for anything.

As always, the city is reminding festival goers who see anything suspicious to say something.
