Whole Foods holding job fair for new Englewood location

CHICAGO -- Whole Foods is holding a job fair to hire workers for its new Englewood store.

The groundbreaking took place in an area that is considered a food desert.

Whole Foods also promised to hire workers from the neighborhood before the Englewood location opens in September.

The "Whole Foods Englewood job fair" is being held at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church both Friday and Saturday-- from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

That church is located at 6248 South Stewart in Chicago.

Residents, who live on the South Side, will be able to apply.

Keep in mind, this fair is only for jobs at the Englewood store.

Within a week, selected applicants will get job interviews.

The company is looking for clerks, bakers, butchers, and produce workers.

There are 90 jobs available for people of all skill levels.
