3 teens shot in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood

CHICAGO — Three teenagers were shot while walking through an alley in the city’s Bronzeville neighborhood.

The shooting happened just after 10 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of E. 48th Street.

Police say the three teens were walking when an man in a white T-shirt started shooting at them.

A 15-year-old boy was shot in the back and taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in serious condition.

An 18-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the back and refused medical attention.

Another 18-year-old was shot in the shoulder and taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

Police say the shooting appears to be gang-related.

No one is in custody.
