Bicyclist injured in hit-and-run accident in Loop; man charged

CHICAGO -- A bicyclist was injured in a hit-and-run accident in the city’s Loop.

It happened just before midnight Thursday at Clark and Wacker.

The bicyclist is in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver didn't get far - he hit a curb and blew out a tire.

The man is charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving the wrong-way on a one-way street, failure to stay in his lane and hitting a pedestrian in a roadway.
