3rd sexual assault reported at U of I in last two weeks

URBANA, Ill. — Police at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign are warning students about another sexual assault on campus.

This is the third instance that has been reported in the last two weeks.

The university sent out a campus safety notice after a student reported she was sexually assaulted on Thursday at a fraternity house located on South First Street.

One of the other assaults also occurred at a fraternity house.

In all three cases, the victim reportedly knew the attacker.
