CHICAGO – Chicago police are questioning a person of interest in the fatal shooting of a man in the South Loop this weekend.

The 45-year-old man, a husband and father, was shot in the head around 10 a.m. near Michigan Ave and 18th Street.

He died at the scene.

A neighbor tells WGN his wife and child recently moved to Florida for a job. He was still here trying to sell their condo and was walking to get coffee when the shooting happened.

Neighbors say two surveillance cameras caught the crime and the car the gunman was driving.

Chicago police say the investigation is ongoing.
