CHICAGO -- The bodies of two people were discovered in a burning minivan in the city's Little Village neighborhood.
Police and fire were called to 31st and Harding around 12:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found a minivan on fire.
The fire was extinguished and two bodies were found inside. The fire was so intense it destroyed the two cars parked next to it.
The bodies were burned beyond recognition.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office says it can not immediately identify the victims due to their condition.
Police are conducting a death investigation.
