Construction on Chicago’s third tallest building begins today

CHICAGO -- Ground breaking is Wednesday for what will one day be the third tallest building in Chicago.

The Vista Tower will be built on East Wacker Drive, near Lake Michigan.

It will be 95 stories tall when it is completed.

Inside will be a hotel and luxury condominiums. The project is creating 2500 jobs.

The Vista Tower will cost around $ 950,000,000 to build.

It is set to open in two years.
