CHICAGO — Chicago police say they still have questions for the woman who claims she was assaulted by Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Jung Ho Kang, but they’ve been unable to reach her
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, police said the woman met Kang through an online site and the two agreed to meet at the Westin Hotel on North Michigan Avenue while the Pirates were in town in June.
The woman said Kang offered her a drink in his room and Kang assaulted her.
“We have additional questions for the victim but she has not made herself available to police,” Chicago police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told the Post-Gazette.
No criminal charges have been filed.
