Northwestern student killed while riding bike near campus

EVANSTON, Ill. — A Northwestern student was killed Thursday while riding her bike in Evanston

Police say the 18-year-old’s bike got stuck in the wheel of a cement truck in the 2000 block of North Sheridan.

She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Her identity has not been released.

Police say the truck had a green light and the driver was not cited.
