CHICAGO -- It was another violent weekend in Chicago.
Eight people were killed, and 43 people were injured across the city over the weekend.
Among the victims, a west suburban man who was shot near Millennium Park Saturday night.
Peter Fabbri, 54, was pronounced dead at Northwestern Hospital Sunday night, just a day after he was shot while walking on Michigan Avenue.
Fabbri was walking with his sister and another woman down Michigan Avenue around 7:35 p.m. Saturday when he got into an argument with another man that became physical. The other man then shot Fabbri, police say.
Fabbri was hit at least twice, including once in the head.
Chicago police have someone in custody and are looking for others in connection to the case.
Criminal charges have not been announced.
