Pro-Trump and anti-Trump protesters gather outside Bolingbrook fundraiser

BOLINGBROOK, Ill. -- Two days after the Presidential debate, Republican nominee Donald Trump is barnstorming the Midwest with campaign stops in three states.

After an appearance Wednesday morning at the Polish National Alliance on Chicago's Northwest Side, Trump is attending a private fundraiser at the Bolingbrook Golf Club -- where protesters were on hand to greet him.

Trump's supporters believe he will shake up Washington with an unconventional outsider's perspective.

But protesters who gathered outside the fundraiser said they do not want the billionaire businessman in their community or in the White House.

Calling themselves "Suburban Families Against Hate," the protesters said they're opposed to Trump's incendiary rhetoric and his proposals on immigration and the economy.

The fundraiser is intended to help bolster Trump's campaign coffers for the stretch run of the Presidential race. Wealthy donors paid between $1,000 and $250,000 to attend.

Trump has appearances in Council Bluffs, Iowa and in Wisconsin later Wednesday.
