BENSENVILLE, Ill. — A 44-year-old man has been charged with first degree murder in the death of his girlfriend whose body was found at a golf course in Bensenville.

The Cook County Sheriff’s Department says Johnanthan Condrey stabbed the 37-year-old woman to death in the home where she lived with him in the 11500 block of West Grande Avenue. Police believe the woman, whose name has not yet been released, was fatally stabbed following an argument.

Her body was then driven to White Pines Golf Course and left there, police said.

Another man had been taken into custody during the investigation but he was released without any charges.

Condrey is expected to appear in bond court Saturday.
