CHICAGO – The road to the World Series will begin late this weekend at Wrigley Field.

Game 1 on Friday will begin at 8:15 PM against either the Giants or the Mets with Game 2 being played at 7:08 PM. Friday’s game will be televised by FS1 while Saturday’s contest will be on the MLB Network.

The opponent for the games will be decided in the one-game National League Wildcard playoff between New York and San Francisco at Citi Field on Wednesday night.

Last season the Cubs won their two games in the NLDS over the Cardinals to win their first playoff series in 12 seasons. The Mets defeated the Cubs in both NLCS games at Wrigley Field in route to a sweep and a National League pennant.
