Family of aspiring rapper seeks answers in his death

RIVERDALE, Ill. --The family of an aspiring rapper who disappeared last month wants police to tell them why it took so long to find him.

Relatives of Jeremy Nixon say he was found dead at a recording studio in south suburban Riverdale Monday.

Nixon, who went by the stage name "Boss Status Duke," was at the home studio when a shooting took place November 16.

The police report says witnesses saw Nixon being dragged down an alley by men with guns.

But Nixon's relatives are skeptical of those accounts.  They say police should focus on the two people who lived in the home studio.  Those two moved out of the home after Nixon's disappearance.

Police are not saying how he died.
