South Side Irish Parade celebrates culture, community for nearly 4 decades

CHICAGO -- With the cut of the ribbon, the South Side Irish Parade stepped off at 103rd and Western, just as it has for nearly 4 decades.

Bagpipers, marching bands, and floats with participants handing out candy and beads to all came to celebrate. There were politicians and plenty of worthy causes near and dear to the South Side community.
