Woman struck by bullet through window in Rogers Park

CHICAGO -- A shooting in Rogers Park wounded two people, including a 64-year-old woman hit through the window of her apartment.

It happened in the 1600 block of Jonquil Terrace at about 12:40 am Friday.

A 42-year-old man was shot three times by a male gunman while standing in the alley.

Another shot went through an apartment window, hitting a woman in the arm.

Both are hospitalized in fair condition.

Police say a gun was recovered and a suspect was arrested near the scene.
