2 deaths in Cook County blamed on extreme cold

CHICAGO -- Two deaths in Cook County are now being blamed on this week's bitter cold.

Officials say there have been four total cold-related for the season.

People are being urged to check on the well-being of elderly relatives.

The City of Chicago says, the city's 21 senior centers are great places for people to stay warm and active.

The city also has six warming shelters.
