Fourth of July celebrations are kicking off this morning around the Chicago area.

One of the biggest festivals in the suburbs is the Naperville Ribfest, which runs through Sunday with more than a dozen award-winning barbeque vendors and several concerts including headliners Styx, Slash and Rick Springfield.

There will also be a big fireworks show tonight at 9:30 p.m.

Last night’s fireworks at Navy Pier will resume tonight starting at 9:30 p.m. but if you can’t make it, check them out on WGN-TV with our special “Chicago’s Summer Blast.”  We’ll also be streaming it online at WGNtv.com/live
