The annual vigil for two missing sisters was held today on the South Side.

Family members and others gathered today to hold a vigil for Tionda and Diamond Bradley.

The girls disappeared on July 6th, 2001.

Their mother left for work early that morning. When she returned home, the family's apartment was empty.

Chicago police later searched more than 5-thousand abandoned buildings and interviewed more than one thousand people.. but no trace of the girls was ever found.

Tionda Bradley was ten years old and her sister, Diamond, was three when they were last seen.
