A man and his parents face charges in Michigan after a house party got out of hand.

James Taylor, 20, advertised on Facebook what was supposed to be a small birthday party for a friend. He said everyone was welcome.

Two thousand people showed up Saturday, and the party quickly descended into chaos.

Police arrived at the scene to find underage drinking and drug use.

“I didn’t force anything down anybody’s throat,” Taylor said. “I didn’t make anybody stay here until 7 a.m. or 11, whenever it is everybody finally left. I didn’t make this kid pass out on my floor.”

Emergency crews took at least seven people to the hospital, six for possible drug and alcohol overdoses. One man is in serious condition after falling off Taylor’s barn.

Police are also investigating an alleged sexual assault of a woman, 19.
