SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. -- All lanes have reopened in both directions on the Bishop Ford Freeway after a crash involving a tractor-trailer.

The accident happened around 4:30 a.m. Monday on the Bishop Ford at 159th Street.

The semi trailer carrying loads of lumber was driving on the southbound lanes when it overturned, spilling all the debris into the northbound lanes.

Both directions of the Bishop Ford were closed for several hours this morning while crews cleaned the debris from the road. There were significant delays all morning long.

But as of 11 a.m. Monday, all lanes are open in both directions.
