CHICAGO — A woman tried to lure a 4-year-old girl from a school playground on the city’s Northwest Side.

That happened on the 2700 block of North Lockwood Thursday afternoon.

A woman waved the girl over and held money through the fence.

When the girl took the money, the woman asked what her name was.

That’s when the girl ran to her grandmother, while the woman left in a green minivan.

The minivan was seen circling around the block two more times.

Police only gave a vague description, saying the woman is 20 to 35 years old, with dark hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call Chicago police at 312-744-8200.
