CHICAGO - For many years there was drama just getting the teams at the top of the College Football rankings the chance to play in the bowl game.

Then the BCS was able to get to match-up of the top two teams, but there was controversy for over a decade as to how those finalists were chosen.

Now it appears the College Football Playoff will be full of its own drama in a couple of weeks thanks to an upset-filled November.

That was part of the discussion with Paul M. Banks of's visit to the Sports Feed studio on Thursday night. He discussed the front runners for the four-team playoff along with some of the fortunes of a few local teams trying to qualify for bowl games.
