Indiana State University evacuates Science Building due to bomb threat

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — The Science Building at Indiana State University has been evacuated due to a bomb threat, according to a university alert.

According to WTHI, the threat said the bomb would go off at 11:35 a.m. Friday at the science building located at 600 Chestnut Street.

University police evacuated Holmstedt Hall and the Career Center too as a precaution.

A general search has found no suspicious packages or devices.

The university tweeted that classes in the Science Building and Holmstedt Hall are cancelled for the rest of the day.
