3 women killed, 1 injured in car crash in Posen

POSEN, Ill. -- A combination of alcohol and speeding is believed to have caused a fatal car accident in Posen.

The crash happened at 143rd and Harrison early Thursday morning.

A BMW plowed into four parked vehicles, and ejected all of the passengers in the BMW.

Three women are dead, and another female is in critical condition.

The driver, a male, is said to be cooperating with the investigation.

Authorities believe he was drunk, and speeding.

Harrison Avenue was closed earlier Thursday morning, but it is now back open.
