1 in custody after South Loop carjacking

CHICAGO -- A carjacking happened in the South Loop just before midnight.

A gang of young men rushed a driver as he pulled out of a parking garage in the 800 block of South Wabash.

They pulled him out of the car and beat him.

Then, one of the attackers drove off in the car.

He was caught, but his associates all got away.
