Volleyball coach fired for sexual misconduct

GARY, Ind. -- The women's volleyball coach at Indiana University Northwest was fired this week for sexual misconduct.

University officials confirmed Emilio Torres was fired, but did not provide more details.

Torres was hired about a year ago.

The case has been turned over to the Lake County Indiana prosecutors office.

So far, criminal charges have not been filed.
