If you take your sons or daughters to work Thursday, they can ride Metra for free.

The rail agency is waiving fares for people under 18 who are accompanied by an adult.

Every adult who buys a Metra ticket can bring up to three children for free.

Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day is held every year in April.

The goal is to encourage children to learn about becoming part of a workplace team and accepting responsibilities.
