4 in custody after car flees police, crashes into Tinley Park garage

TINLEY PARK, Ill. -- Four suspects are in custody after a vehicle fled police and crashed into a garage in Tinley Park.

Tinley Park village officials say an area resident called police to report a suspicious white van at about 5:30 a.m. Thursday. A police squad car picked up van near 183rd and Harlem, followed it for a distance and tried to pull it over. The van would not pull over.

The van then drove into a cul-de-sac near 183rd and 66th and crashed into garage. One suspect was arrested right away while the other three were captured at gunpoint by police not far from the crash.

No information has been provided about the four suspects or the van.
