3 killed in fiery crash on Far South Side

CHICAGO -- Three people are dead after a fiery crash on the city's Far South Side.

It happened around 1 a.m. Friday in the 3300 block of East 100th Street.

Police say a 2016 Chevy sedan was speeding when it hit a light pole.

The car then flipped onto its roof and caught fire.

All three people inside the car were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are waiting to release the names of the occupants in the car until their family members are notified.
