George HW Bush hospitalized for low blood pressure, fatigue

BIDDEFORD, Maine — Former President George H.W. Bush was hospitalized Sunday after experiencing low blood pressure and fatigue, according to a spokesperson.

The former president is expected to stay at Southern Maine Health Care for a few days for observation.

His spokesperson said Bush is awake and alert and not in any discomfort.

No further information was provided.

Barbara Bush, the former president’s wife, died April 17. She was 92.
